Description Apparently I have a habit of making a whole series of one subject, so I add here what I can without killing myself, I guess people will ask more of one piticular type of photo, I usually have about 5 or more in the same series.
With this one, I was trying something new, with males sexy or even erotic sometimes doesn't apply, I'll pose myself in different positions play with lighting, try different things on, or nothing at all (that aint' an easy thing to do and make every look cool)take about 20 plus photos, and choose 4-5 I like and then maybe play with the coloring or don't do anything at all... {this is the longest explaination I'll probably ever give} Always depends on the mood of that day/hour. but if you enjoy what I do, ask for more, if you don't tell me you don't like it... EVERYONE rock ' on

If you are using some images just for artistic purposes and ıf you have no problem beişng popular then ıt comes to the objects or the subjects of your photos...Artistic nude is a subject thaht can make you veryub popuplar....And ıf you force the limits up to the pornography than you will get more people knows you!...
Personally I like to watch artistic nude male photos...And I suggest you not to shot only nude shots....After all ofv that weird words....Let me say ; I am sure that you can shot better ( nude or not) photographs than that..

The feelings at the time are rejection and isolation.
pornography, not really something I've really gotten into, may to watch. maybe to act out. but to photograph, not sure, I've got so many ideas for several subjects, female-male, female-female, male-male, but getting models ain't always easy, let alone ones that I can pose the way I want. I may do some none-nude eventually, but I'm so comfortable with what I do, it comes naturally. We will see what the future has in store for us...

you are right!...Do what you want to do...And share what you think that is good for you...we will try to follow to watch you!.. As an adult, smart and clever man you will know better what you must do! And you have a chance to judge your productions...I like your lanscapes and nude shots both...And happy that you will go on...

Well, it would be better without the pixelation, but the lighting is good and I like the main tattoo. As for effect... *tries to decide if you really want to know what first came into her head seeing this* Ok, this is very probably not what most people think, seeing this, much less what you were aiming for, but I will say it anyway: how can men wear pants? Isn't it terribly uncomfortable, given what is right where the seam falls?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WrongState In reply to Eolhin [2006-04-29 17:14:06 +0000 UTC]

That is so awesome, in actuality, it's a matter of size in this case, the larger the male the more problimatic, known a few men that are large enough to get it out of the way, it's the small ones that rest on the seam that have the issues.. and damn that was a bit graphic, and yes the tat is real, one of my favorites.. just a bit weird.
I'm figuring it's my editing technique or just the small camera I was using compared to the recent shots I've done.. not totally sure just yet... but I tell you, keep the cretique coming, I can use whatever I can get my hands on...

*LOL* Sorry, but the photo was a bit graphic, and that really was the first thing I thought when I saw it. I wonder how many other women wonder such things, but are just too polite to bring it up? *L*

Well, Neat Image, which I mentioned, can be used to remove some general pixelation. When you have pixelation mostly along the edges of things, and high contrast boarders, careful application of the blur tool in Photoshop works well to get rid of it for me, though I don't know if you have Photoshop or not.

Also, if you repeatedly re-save a file as a JPG, the repeated application of the compression algorithms can cause pixelation fairly quickly. The best thing to do, if your camera produces files as a JPG, is to re-save it as a PNG (a lossless format, though it takes up more HD space). Then perform whatever manipulations, changes, corrections, effects, etc that you want on it, saving it as often as you want. Only when you are finally done with it, and ready to post it do you save a copy as a JPG again (to make it a reasonable file size for posting). And hang on to the file you were working with still as a PNG, in case you want to make further changes to it later. I hope some of that helps, and isn't just something you already knew.

actually that'll help alot, I was wondering why everytime I save something in mid progress that I'd lose some of the detail, that one Mark Brooks was tearing me apart.. actually wish I knew that weeks ago, but no one was helping me with that.. ah well... hahaha even posted a question in my journal...
the Photoshop I have is by Jasc, that's why it's funny people say use this "tool" in photoshop and I'll say I dont' have that in there... and then the schooling insues...

*pats* Sorry, I didn't know you weeks ago. I found that out about JPGs when I first got a prints account on DA, and they kept rejecting things because of grain. That was one of the possible reasons they gave for images ending up grainy, or pixelated. Check out some of these faqs, they might give you further useful information: FAQ #176: What are JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFFs files? FAQ #137: What are the advantages/disadvantages of each file type?

Hopefully, the imaging program you have can handle PNGs. Most can, but I have never played with the more limited offshoots of Photoshop, only the main ones, from 4 right up to CS2, so I wouldn't know for sure. Oh, and the free version of Neat Image only works with JPG I think, but as the program itself removes grain before saving, that isn't usually an issue. It seems to work best of you take the image from the camera, run it through Neat Image to clean up any grain, sharpen it, etc (very versatile program, even more so if you are willing to pay for the extra features), then it will save it as a JPG again. Take that file, and convert it into a PNG, then do whatever work on it you want to. Also, using Neat Image to reduce the grain (if there is any) will help cut down on the file size, as the file isn't trying to store all that extraneous noise with the image any longer.

Heh, you would confuse people less if you just don't tell them that you have Photoshop. Most people haven't played with the offshoot versions, and may not even know that they exist.

hahaha too cool.. just a plethera of info.. and all of it helps, I've found a new guru, My wife and I will deffinatly be able use all this info for future photos and such... thank you a million times over... and people come to me for advice for things like this... wow...

Eolhin In reply to WrongState [2006-05-03 12:37:22 +0000 UTC]

You are welcome. But hardly a guru. *L* Just someone with a bit more experience, willing to share what they have learned. I took digital imaging years ago at University, when it was first offered, and I worked in tech support for years. It just helps if you have learned how to find information when you need it. If you have a question that really needs a solution in the future, and can't find what you are looking for in the faq, or by Google, etc, then go to the forums. There are several help forums, for various subjects here. For instance, if you had a question about an art program, then (if I couldn't find what I needed on the web site for that program, or in its help files) I might look for answers in the Software Forum (towards the bottom of the forums list). (The general DA help forum is more for help with problems with DA itself, though people there might also be able to point you where to look.) If you don't see what you need already posted in the forum, then you ask your question, and other people will usually help answer it. There are also chat channels at DA, though I haven't ever used those myself, so I don't know how easy it is to get help in them. As long as you are polite, someone will usually step up to help you. I learned most of what I know by asking really basic questions now and then. *L*
