The blues in the chrome are a bit over saturated..I have done occasional HDR conversions over the years, it can be tricky sometimes not to overdue it..great choice for backdrop ( I shot my Red '60 in 2009, last one I have found where the owner didnt mind pictures taken of it )

For me the whole scene looks more like from a 3D-Cartoon. So I am not a purist in this case

Its one of the best car images I have seen by another photographer, just thought the chrome was a bit over saturated, I have the same problem when using this format myself, so I incorperate layers and tone it down in those areas.

for the finishing touch I use Adobe Lightroom which gives you possibilities to influence colours very
selectively. I will upload another Chevrolet picture later today which is treated in a completely different way. I am curious if you will like it.

I rarely use the HDR conversion, however, all of my Little red corvette images were treated to this effect, the only downside, in my opinion, was the effect it had on the chrome, so I simply layered the images and erased the coloring I didnt like. There is nothing wrong with your corvette picture..guess im just a purist when it comes to chrome.

Very nice! I'm always amazed when I go to Europe and find old American muscle cars and their V8s. They are so out of place there and the owners always smile as if they know it too.

I'm in agreement about the setting and background. It's got great texture and it doesn't overshadow the contrast of the car's paint job. Looks great and a great use of HDR processing, too!!!

no....sorry...it is an hdr image, supposed to be artificial looking. by the way, the blue parts are
real. there is no colouring from my side. you can download it an de-saturate it of course. or did you want to buy a print? in that case i can follow individual wishes...
