I've been thinking about doing a black and white image for a while, and I also wanted to do something that was more about the human form than outfits and scenery.With the huge amount of female nudes or scantily clads, I thought it was about time we had a male up there. So here he is. I wanted to keep his decency and anonymity which is why the eyes and groin are not visible.
Because it might be borderline mature content, I've played it safe and marked it as such.

like... you know, did you get this from a picture? do you start with shades or lines, how long does it take, how do you achieve the photo realism, how does the fact that it's 3dimentional art effect the formal qualities of the image, etc...

Unless I went down the route of messing around with the body and features to 'disguise' the model, but that wouldn't add anything to the image and to be honest, there's nothing wrong with him in the first place to warrant a change.

I was drawn to this most of all by the lines of his laterals, he looks almost as though he is water becoming solid thanks to that touch.
