An upcoming scene that happens in Buffy's story. WARNING: Contains spoilers for Season 2, Episode 2: Seeing Stars and for an upcoming chapter in Meet Buffy. Viewer discretion is advised.

When Blitzø has "the talk" with Loona regarding her people skills, Loona, in a fit of jealousy and anger, accuses Blitzø of only adopting Buffy as her eventual replacement. Unknown to Loona at the time, Buffy was eavesdropping and was crushed by what she heard. After everyone comes back from Los Angeles to bring back Octavia, they find Buffy has run away, once again.

Loona deeply regrets the things she said about Buffy being a replacement for her and reveals that in every home she'd ever been in, she was always blamed for whatever problem that occurred, even if she wasn't really at fault. She then explains to Blitzø that she knows that she has treated him badly, but has only done so because deep down, she believes that he will eventually get rid of her, and that by distancing herself from him, it would lessen the pain when it finally does happen. Blitzø, realizing just how much the world has really hurt his first daughter, assures her that no matter what, he will never get rid of her because he will always love her, and what's more, there's always room in his heart for her and Buffy.

Hearing this gives Loona the comfort she needs and she allows herself to be vulnerable for just one moment as she says these two words...

"Thanks... Dad..."
