Description
Memory is not an instrument for exploring the past but its theatre. It is the medium of past experience, as the ground is the medium in which dead cities lie interred.Related content

This is truely awesome, the pain, and agony expressed on the face is really cutting. Has a real feeling of unreleting hell, despair, and pain.
Amazing work.

I love the dirty/gothic/industrial you have in all your pics Kristina. Great work, I wish I was this good in Photoshop!

nice manip - it's just a bit too dark for my taste... and i mean dark as in no light, not as in dark mood
some more contrast here and there would've been good I think, especially around the head, so as to get a focus on it perhaps...
(I had to take a look at the stock pics before I could identify what head you're talking about - but then it could also (partly or wholy) be my monitor's fault...)

morbidly brillant
i really like it, and its very interesting to see your work from the original stock pictures.
I must also mention it took me about 5 to really recognize the face, very impressive

Thanks! (And for the fav! )
Uhmm...took me a few hours I guess - I initially came up with a different idea for this, and worked into that for about half an hour, but then changed the whole concept and spent probably an evening/night into it - I'd say probably from around 5pm-10pm...so around 5 hours give or take. However, coming to think of it, I'd probably spent an extra hour being neurotic and perfecting bits and pieces here and there!

Very cool, although it's a little difficult to define what's happening at first. Still, a wicked deviation. Great job.
