For all the work I put into this, I should be super proud but.... we are our own worst critics so I see flaws everywhere! lol

I tried some new things so I AM proud of that.

This started out as a test with the church from the Remake. After spending the better part of a week going through all hundreds... and hundreds.... and hundreds.... of texturing, the hardest part was actually lighting. Spent days trying to figure out how to light the inside and this is the best I could do. The night time lighting coming from the idea that developed later on after tweaking with a lot of things.

I'm not sure if I did the lighting right so if anyone has any hints and tips, I welcome them!

The flowers are the flowers from the game BUT they're not from the church model itself because for some reason the church doesnt have them attached. So I had to insert them in a different way.

If anyone knows how to get models like that WITH the flowers (and doors for certain other models OMG) attached, I welcome the help too! lol

The feathers and green... lights I guess you could call them, were put in in the same way as the flowers. So 3 different things at work here and my poor PC spent over night and then some rendering it.

One of the more discouraging things that held me back from finishing until now was posing. I'm terrible at posing and can't do sitting poses well, if at all so I had to resort to the same old standing type pose here. Sorry!

(Gotta find a tutorial on how to pose proper lol)

Finally, Zack, I wanted to make him ghost-like and transparent-ish in blender where the light passed through him and I found a tutorial that works on regular meshes but for things like his hair, it wasnt happening so I had render him separate and go with photoshop and even then I dont know how to do that effect well. Blah! I tried though ^^

Now that all the negative and explanation is out of the way:

The idea in my head here is one evening, a few years after Zack died, Aerith, in tune with the planet one night, while checking her flowers one last time for the day, stands and turns to view the giant hole in the roof. The lifestream particles rising up from the flower bed and the moon light (or artificial light?) shining down where feathers start to appear. Given the Angeal clone was once in the church, I'd think Aerith would be familiar with feathers in some way and if nothing else, Zack always wanted wings and maybe he told her lol so... symbolism? Though she can't feel it directly, Zack's presence is behind her that she can sense. His finger carefully trying to brush against her hand (might be hard to tell in the render, sorry!) and somehow, she knows he's there.

Okay no more sappyness. XD I suppose this turned out okay in the end. I like the overall look and feel too it. ^^
