She seems to be holding him close for comfort. But she is loving and caring like that. It's interesting how they're not on the ground, but seem to be floating during what I believe is rainfall, looking like something is about to happen.
The play on lighting is really neat, how the upper half of them is visible, while they become close to silhouetted lower down in the glow.
