"Rex, what are you doing? Cure the EVOs already." Six said through the communicator.
"Relax, Six. I'm leading them to some place where less people are around." Rex answered, riding the Rex Ride with two giant lion-like EVOs chasing after him.

There were three EVOs running around in the city when Rex and Six arrived. Six took down one of them, which was already been send away by the Providence, and the other two was chasing after Rex.

Usually Rex would beat them up right away, but from a couple experiences before, Rex learned that fighting at the place where too many people around is dangerous.
For the first time, he tried to make the EVOs stay away from people at first, instead of fighting EVOs while worry about if they would hurt the citizens.

Six didn't say, but he was a little impress. Who would have thought that Rex learns this all by himself?
But he still doesn't like how he couldn't find where the teenager is.
"Send me Rex's coordinate." Six said to the base.

As Rex was riding, he made sure that the two EVOs were focus on him, nothing distract them. And then he looked around, found an old abandoned building about half a mile away.
"That should be good enough." He drove into the building area, and the two EVOs followed him.

Right in front of the old building, Rex stored back the Rex Ride, and the lion EVOs surrounded him, ready to take down their target.
"Hey, you might think you got me, but you are wrong." Res said as he took out the Smackhands. "It's smashing time!"

Both the EVOs jumped to him with their claws in front to cut him into pieces. Rex punched one away, and grabbed the other by the neck. He smacked the one in his hand to the old building. Part of the building fell off and dropped onto the EVO, it injured and fainted right away.

Then Rex turned around to face the other lion EVO. That EVO had a bruise because of Rex's first punch. After facing Rex for seconds, it bended down and started eating soil from the ground.

"Ewww…you don't have to eat mud to show me your surrender." Rex was kind the disgusted by the EVO's action.
As soon as the EVO ate enough soil, its body started to change from the size of a normal lion into the size of a pickup truck. Both teeth and claw grew bigger and sharper. It even had two horns coming from the forehead and a pair of wings coming from the side.

Anyway, bigger, stronger, and scarier equal extra dangerous.

"Whoa, that doesn't look like a lion anymore." Rex called out the BFS and ready to fight the giant monster.

All the sudden, a bright, blue light came out of nowhere appeared in between Rex and the monster.

Rex thought it's one of the monster's ability, so he speedily jumped away from the possible attack area. But yet, the monster backed off too, so it couldn't be its power.

Right before the light disappear, a young boy jumped out from the center of the light.

Rex was shocked by the appearance of that kid, but the next second he noticed the monster was back to its position and about to attack that boy. He quickly changed the BFS to Punk Busters and jumped.

"Hi there, ugly. Look over here!" Rex said as he kicked the monster from above.
The monster flied away and hit the building because of the kick. Rex turned to the direction of the mysterious kid, hoping the child would be smart and run away.

…Nope.
He is still there watching me kicking EVO butt…

"Hey, kid! Go away! Or else you might get hurt!"
Rex tried to warn the boy, but the child didn't seem want to follow his order. Even worse, he was running to Rex's direction instead of running away.
"What? Can't you understand English?" Rex said to the kid.

Before the kid say anything, the big monster got up and ran toward them. Rex knew he couldn't fight with a child this close to him, so he turned on the Boogie Pack, grabbed the kid in his arms and flied to the sky for escape.
Saw the teenager and the kid ran away, the monster moved its wings and flied to the sky too. It started to chase after both of them in the air.
"Ok, this isn't exactly what I planned." Rex looked back at the monster and then looked down at the kid in his hands.

"Try to cut the monster's horns." The kid looked up to Rex and said.
"What?" Rex asked him.
"My dad taught me to cut the horns. That's the monster's weakness."
"Your dad knows how to deal with EVO?"
"Just try it!"

Rex didn't know why, but he felt that he can trust the kid. He stopped at the roof of a tall building to put the kid down, and then he took out the BFS.
Once the monster arrived to where they were, Rex ran toward the monster and tried to attack the it from the front.
While Rex and the monster were fighting, the kid took out a PDA to scan around Rex, and then he started to calculate something with it.

At the same time, Six was standing on his hover board to track down Rex's coordinate from above. Luckily he found the building where Rex was at very fast. He noticed the kid on that roof, but he didn't have time to worry about him.
"Rex!" Six jumped onto the roof, stood in front of the kid.
"Hey, Six. Don't worry, I got this one." Rex said, but he was quite struggling with the big monster. "All I need to do is cut its horns."

Six didn't think they have time for this. He jumped onto the monster's head and took out his Katanas. With a swing of those in one second, the monster's horns fell, so was the monster itself.
"Done." Six said as he jumped down from the monster.
"Grrr…why didn't you let me handle this?" Rex peeked at Six with annoying look, he thought he told Six that he got it.
"Haha, I say that to my dad often too." The strange kid said, attracted their attention.

"I thought you said you wanted to lead the monster to a place with less people around." Six gave Rex the look as if he was lecturing. He thought Rex should know better than fighting around a kid.
"I did! I was fighting at an old abandoned building, but suddenly there was a light, and then this kid came out of nowhere!" Rex pointed to the kid as he explained to Six. "If it wasn't him, I would have taken down that monster right at the old building like the other one."
"The other one that you left at the old building escaped." Six replied. "We will have to find that one later."
"Oh great…" Rex sighed, he said to himself ironically. "Well, at least we got the first one and this one…"

Rex was about to cure the EVO, but at the moment they turned around to the monster, they found the kid was right next to the senseless EVO.
"Hey! Stay away from that thing!" Rex yelled at the kid. He had never seen a kid this troublesome other than himself.

The kid didn't listen to him. He putted his both hands on the creature, and then some blue lines appeared on his hands. Rex thought that looks very similar to his when he uses his power, but yet the color and the brightness of that kid's lines were still a bit different.

Right after the lines showed up, the EVO started to change from a monster to a human. Finally, instead of a giant flying lion, it was just a normal guy lying on the ground.

"You are an EVO?!"
Rex and Six were shocked. They had never seen someone with the ability like this besides Rex.

What a great discovery they have so far!

"Yeah. I got my ability from my dad." The kid smiled to them.
"Who is your dad? Wait, first of all, who are you?" Rex forgot all the bad memory about that boy already. He couldn't be happier to see somebody just like himself, and even better, have the same ability he has.

"My name is Danny." The child walked up to Rex.
"Hi Danny, I'm Rex." Rex shook hand with the kid. "It's great to know you."

"Who is your father that you got your power from?"
After calling for ship from Providence to get them, Six asked Danny. He was very suspicious about the kid. If there was a person with the ability likes Rex, and even has a son, the Providence should know that already.

The boy smiled again, he pointed at Rex. "He is here."
Rex and Six both looked at him and wondered what was he talking about.

"I'm your son from the future, Rex." Danny looked up to Rex, gave him a great, big smile. "Hello, Dad."
