Holyleaf slipped out of the undergrowth on the riverbank. Ashfur stared into the river across the small clearing she entered. She crept forward, slowly, quietly. "I know what you're here for," Ashfur murmured. Holyleaf froze midstep. After a long moment of silence, she padded over and sat next to him. He didn't look up. "You're going to kill me. Because I'm threatening you." Hollyleaf flicked an ear. "And the rest of my family," she added quietly. Ashfur turned toward her, his eyes burning. "She deserves it. He deserves it." He turned away again with a snarl. Hollyleaf sighed. "I'm sorry," she whispered. Then she lunged, knocking the grey cat to the ground. She dug her claws into his neck. Ashfur smiled and wrapped his paws around her neck as well. "Do it," he whispered, his claws tangling in her fur. The last thing he saw was Hollyleaf's anguished expression as she tore into his throat.

HollyxAsh is the best crack pairing.

(they are obviously perfect for each other because god damn i mean love can turn into hate super easily, yeah? both on the extreme side of the feelings scale, anyways. and of course they both felt super bad about what they put each other through after thy died. and i just......yes this pairing is best)

EDIT: Guys, this is fan-writing. Headcanon. I know that there was no canon shippy things with these two, that's why they're a crack pairing. I know that Ashfur was (SPOILERS BTW) killed by Holly biting into his throat, not clawing it out. I just wanted to draw this. Kthx.
