I think the coloring and elf herself are adorable. I think the reason why the arm may seem off to some people is because the torso is rather slender. More obviously, I think, it is probably because the armpit is flatly connected, instead of caving in and having the edge of the torso go past where the line for the arm ends.
It's just a tip! I really like her face.
