Description
This walnut jewelry tree and sundries dish was actually made over a year ago, but I haven't had a chance to photograph it until now. It's a bit on the rough side; you can see significant gaps between the branches and the trunk with glue showing. But, hey, I was just getting into woodwork at that point, and I thought it was worth posting anyway. It's one of the few pieces that I've liked more after I burned the wood. The burning gives it, I dunno, a western feel. Also worthy of note: it has memories attached to it, so I don't want it anymore. And so it's up for grabs. Just leave a comment expressing interest, and I'll enter you in a free raffle for it. It might not be high art or superior craftsmanship, but it does do a good job holding necklaces, bracelets, rings, you name it, and the trays on either side of the tree are great for dumping your keys or trinkets. And it's free; what've you got to lose?

What do you mean it may not high art or superior craftsmanship!?! Don't you realize that what you've created is certainly more than what Billions on this Planet could make? & there are over 7 Billion. Think about it. It's Stupendously Beautiful & Gorgeous!!!! Β Honest!

Hi - it is absolutely gorgeous! I was online looking for a unique jewelry tree to hold my jewelry & such and your photo popped up. I have always been a little obsessed with trees - drawing them (usually just the twisted trunks) & I use tree imagery, themes & metaphor for working with clients in therapy - grounding, root systems and natural give & flexibility and ability to change, grow, blossom etc..) so was/am really looking for something "real" to hold the things I cherish I think it's beautiful & would be thrilled beyond belief to own this lovely work of art! So, I'd love to throw my name in the hat please

I like it. It kinda reminds me of a bare bonsai tree, except it's really light coloured.
