Artist's Comment:

This is one of 4 Halloween-themed adopts I've made! I wanted to try something totally new, and also give myself a break from drawing owed art and push myself out of my comfort zone. Each adopt I post was challanging in a different way for me but very refreshing and making me want to challange myself more! I'll admit I'm very scared about doing these as auctions but I also know I can't grow as a person if I don't take risks. I put a lot of hours into each one ranging from 4 to 8 hours on each character.

Optional Backstory:

The Haunted Tree, as he is often referred to as, is an enslaved soul, trapped into a tree and granted mobility and powers to carry out orders by the one that owns him. He travels alone and tries to avoid contact with other living beings, as he is unaware of any and all targets his master may have a vandetta against. With every murder he is forced to commit, he cries as he uncontrollably carries out the commands he's given.

A suffering soul, enslaved by a monster because of a debt unable to be paid and forced to live as a pawn, he finds little relief to his pain. But when he does meet another person, he can't help but smile. A soft, kind-hearted smile comes across his face, as he longs to socialize and be among people once more. But he's always on the move, making sure that his master doesn't become wise to his wereabouts and force him to kill everyone.

When need be, he is granted more power to carry out bigger orders his master is too busy to deal with. But on a regular basis, he has mild phytokinesis, superior regeneration, superior reflexes, mild levitation for traversing tarrain, and mild soul magics used for collecting more enslaved souls for his master.
