That is so very true. It's the tragic reason why I don't read a lot of manga now and days (but I do love drawing it~(not Shoujo, just original works of anime )

I don't mind cliche manga that much, but it can get really stupid. It's sad how much of what you said is true.
That's why my favourite shoujo manga right now is Skip Beat! It has some cliche things in it. (like the unwanted sexual advances) but other than that it's good. The main character isn't a mary-sue! I've never read Blackbird but after this I don't think I want to.
By the way, this was hilarious.
