Description
Pencil drawing 30" x 48" this is the last stage before finishing...one panel in the lower right is not finished, but this is the only slide I have of it. It's really difficult to get the full impact in this format, this was a work over 9 months, and burned 40 pencils on it.It's really a self-portrait, since I was born in the year of the pig....and if you are familiar with mythology, is also an icon for the tortured artist....
Anyway, I thought I'd do a little change of pace from my photographs.

That's humorous since I used to go by the name of The Phantom Lawn Mower.. I used to love mowing lawns so much I would mow peoples lawns and leave only a note saying "You have been hit by The Phantom Lawn Mower.."

It looks stunning so far. Great looking details and superb anatomy. The symbolism is perfect. Intricate, grotesque, and beautiful. Even though it is not completed, I think it's absolutely marvelous.
