Anyway, this is a new character. I have no name or personality for him
Suggestions for names are welcome provided you are sensible. Please.

Well let's see....Maybe you could name him Zelphon and give him some sort of a "badass" attitude. I know Sonic kind of has that "cool" kind of way, but he's all layed back and like "don't worry about it." You could possibly try something a little like that for him, only try using a bit of your own style for him. I didn't read all of the comments, so I don't know if anyone else made any suggestions. If anyone did, forgive me, I just see him as more of the "badass/mysterious" type...it's kind of his expression that lures me to that conclusion. He could also be kind of like Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh. Why mention a character from Yu-Gi-Oh? Well, if you've ever seen Seto Kaiba in action, you'd see he is a vengeful and lonewolf type; he doesn't take any help from very many people. Take that into consideration. You could try to mix the two personalities, if possible.
I'm a CC (custom character) myself, so I come out with this kind of stuff for my characters all the time. Just watch your shows, read your comics/books/mangas, and take in inspiration.
Good work on creating the physical form of this character, it's original to my eyes.

*resists urge to tease ya with the annoying emote* Blue and brown, now that is a color combination hardly ever seen. He looks cool, a bit badass... Humm... I'm usually good with naming but right now my brain is under the influence of approximately a pound of sugar and caffiene, so I'm juuust a little spazzy. @_O;

Well I really like this. The detail you put into this is really well done. What I suggest is a sonic type name, he is a hedgehog afterall yes? Sonic names are always nouns, verbs or something that describes the character. For example, Sonic is named Sonic becuase he's fast. Sonic speed eh? Well to me, your character looks rather mysterious with that arch in his eyes. He also looks osmewhat like a ladies man XD TO me, he looks cuute. I can't think of any particular names in general but I suggest a more sonic-ish name for him rather than a normal human's name. Much improvement in your Sonic anatomy as well~

A very interesting looking character. His pose and expression are amazing and very well done, they project an expression and feeling of calmness, and yet also an assurance of his own abilities. His design is fantastic and the hairstyle and addition os sunglasses look great and add to his potential character. ^^ The colouring is fantastic as well and the shades look amazing and are extremely well done. I particularly like the detail you put in the reflections off the sunglasses. The background looks great as well and are also a good range of tones there.
Names are a difficult thing to determine, to be honest.
