Sorry for all the grammatical errors, I'm not really very good in the English grammar!!!Thank you a lot to for helping me to fix the grammar!!!
When I start this, I was so afraid of what could happen if I ost it, but I'm happy of doing right now!
Before someone say something like: WHO ARE YOU TO TELL HOW MAKE OCs?!?!?! Well, I not order you to read or follow what it says, I did this Tutorial for everybody that would like read it or for those new artists that doesn't know how start their stories and everything! Because today we seen so many gallery of people full of talent but that only does always bishonens or pretty girls (or boys that look like pretty girls), that doesn't risk to try new styles or ideas for fear of what other people could say!
So, if I insulted someone with this tutorial, I apologize and not take it personal because this is my opinion only!

well, a mary sue is a "perfect character", I not saying that is a well developing and interesting charater, I mean, is a character that is phisically beautiful, smart as a genius, with the force of ten men, with the age of 16 or less and with all the powers and skills that you can think!
use for example this comic to see it [link]
actually you can find in the animes of today a lot of mary sues and gary stus (the male version of it) schoolar girl with the skill of kill a complety army, 15 years old boys better than the gold medals sports-people, kids that have the power of the univer on their hands and learnd how to use it in less than a day!

si, es que hoy en dia es tan raro encontrar personajes mayores de edad! y hay algunos que molan muchisimo!!! mis personajes no suelen ser menores de edad, van desde los 23 hasta los 40 aΓ±os! solo tengo como un par que son menores!

I simply adore this tutorial, because I've seen soooo many poorly done characters. I've made up a lot of characters and I've played pen&paper role play games for over 2 years now (it helps to give life to a character and it's fun xD) and I've stumbled across some people who'd need this tutorial. xD

Thanks, but I'm sure I won't need the help. xD I've been making characters for years, not to mention that I know pretty much every clishΓ©.
(In almost every movie and series I can say what happens next.lol) If you ever need inspiration, try TVtropes. It might also help you to make more original characters, since you can see how many characters there are of a certain trope and also play with the trope itself.

really? how many you have? because is better make less characters and work better the ones you already have, for exmple, I have been a lot of the characters that I have I did them before 15 and I have been working with some of them for more than 10 years!

I do work on them . . . kinda forever since most of them are for rpg anyway, but I have a lot. I'm working on several projects at a time. But I always make sure thar no two oc's are too similar. They're all quite different. It's not a matter of the numbers but a matter of inspiration and creativity. To make sure no two oc's are the same, I make extremely long profiles. Often they reach more than 3 word pages.

Yeah, that would be bad. When I make characters I usually want to make them just like real people. So real that I could imagine running into them in my town the other day. xD Thank you. ^^ And good luck to you as well.
