This is my attempt at a 3D Rendering done with Daz Studio. I applied some Photoshop techniques to bring out the color and make it slightly more 2 dimensional. Their hair is drawn in. I hope it doesn't stand out in a bad way. All in all the experimenting to get the look took a while but to do an image like this from start to finish should take about 15 or so minutes, unless the poses are tricky. This one is just an example so I didn't take any care of adding shadows or highlights. Also the ring ropes I did not add into the stadium ring model because they are not flexible or poseable so I will simply add the ropes in Photoshop. I originally wanted to do other characters but I'm having trouble getting their outfits quite right and it seems like too much work drawing it in. So I picked some characters that would be easy with the figure models I have. I'll have more matches soon. In fact I'll have this full match up soon!ΒI'll send this to my scraps soon

(um...sorry...got carried away...but she's mine....)i see what you mean when you were saying color lightens a comic's mood.. comparing it to the black and white of Victoria Pegaduro and ZXU Alley that you posted a couple days ago.... color does seem to lighten the mood. doesn't take away though that your black and white work is great. Also, whether your comic is black and white or color, the writing of the story will be the ultimate mood setter..art wise, you're awesome! Black and white or color...the art rocks!

It's a better hair reference and an animated stylized one at that. Lately I've been using these 3D figures as models and drawing from them but I've noticed that my drawings look stiff too much like the figures. So I've been looking to maybe stylize a little more but I've been looking a lot into anime/manga... and just now you reminded me of Kim Possible which has a really good stylization that's easy to draw. I had thought of it before but you just reminded me of it. Also maybe touch up Lika Rish with a bit of Bonnie in terms of maybe hair but also in personality maybe a little. Hey you asked
