Hoping to at least attempt to make this a series, as it's something I've been meaning to do for a long time. I spent forever diddling with the palette on this, but I think I like it now; I wanted it to have a more illustrative quality than what I usually do, something that's pretty antithetical to how I usually colour.
Heavy is Capricorn, the sign associated with Saturn, the father of seasons. It is the cardinal Earth sign.

I'm surrounded by Capricorns in my life (my dad, my boyfriend) and yes, Heavy seems to be one. They are melancholic and serious but their sense of humor is great!

Really, though. This is really, really cool. I like how it's encorporated into one being, like instead of just saying "oh, derp, he's like a Capricorn", you're taking an extra step to show that it's a part of his character and vice versa. Like, instead of saying "he's like a blah blah blah" you're saying "he IS a blah blah blah". Heck, you don't even have to say it, it's so prominent in this artwork. The form and figure, how wonderfully the shapes mesh together, the colors, even the facial expressions. Very well done, very striking yet simple. I love it.
The only out-of-place thing I could see was the tail. The Capricorn is the sea-goat: up-half mammal, bottom-half sea creature. And the tail at the end looks more like hair than a fin. Of course, this is a very minor detail in relation to the entire picture. It does in no way take any value away from the piece, it's just something that stood out to me.
And I know this probably means nothing to you, but down in the comments I saw someone contemplating the actions of a Capricorn to the Heavy and saying they were off...? Just throwing in my two-cents, I met a very close friend of mine on a TF2 server, we were comparing each other and we both agreed that I was the Heavy hands-down. Like I said, means nothing, but it's kind of interesting.^^
And I think I may love the Heavy just a tiny bit more. Just a smidgen.

Capricorn is a sign I like a lot, I'll admit- as someone who's totally shiftless and indecisive, (I'm a stereotypical Pisces) I admire people who are able to just get to work.
I wanted to match one class/character to one sign; arguably, Taurus would also be a decent match for Heavy, but I felt that Engineer was a better match for that sign, and I tend to see Heavy as a sort of towering, melancholic person, which is very Capricorn-ish. I am happy that other horoscope enthusiasts, (like yourself) have correlated my opinions on this series, especially as I wasn't looking forward to getting a ton of "but spycraaaab is cancer" responses.
The tail has a sort of stylized appearance that does look more like hair than a fin; though I intentionally drew it that way, I don't mind getting feedback from people who think something looks a bit weird about a picture.

Indeed, the Heavy is a pursued and determined type. I think he fits Capricorn better than Taurus, even though like you said they both would have worked. It's different when picking apart personalities than just saying "he strong like bull!". That gets you nowhere..
Hey, what can I say? I love to connect things like horoscopes and whatnot. ^^ If it was a PARODY, I would put Spycrab as Cancer. Yet, a parody it is not. Hehe. And yes, Capricorns do have the tendency to be melancholic and straight-to-business. But we're still pretty good natured
The tail wasn't a bad part, just stood out a little. I figured it was stylization, but it still looked a bit out of place to me. Still, great work.

Heavy is the sexiest character in the game, IMO. Even if he's kind of a derp, he's an enormous, insanely strong man with glorious cheekbones, a well-defined nose and a big paunch that would be perfect for clinging to.

I love how you drawn this, but Capricorn isn't fitting for Heavy; Capricorn is the type who is melancholic, lonesome, disciplined and overall, traditional. Type that always goes to the top, like real goat.
Personally, I would place Heavy amongst Water signs.

I see Heavy as someone who is more melancholic than phlegmatic, as he's not really a flexible person; while there's no canon 'leader' in the team, he's one of the brighter ones, and definitely the most indomitable, two qualities that make him the backbone of the team. Despite his playfulness and gregarious nature in battle, the Heavy is someone with a keen tactical sense, who acts swiftly and with brutal efficiency when he has to, and considering how laconic he becomes when badgered about his horrific past in the comics, he's likely someone who guards a lot of his thoughts and feelings closely.
Ultimately, most people can be slotted into most zodiacal signs, and I used him for Capricorn because I felt he was a better match than anyone else, and I wanted every character and every sign to be used.

That's right when you speak about Heavy as a person, but not only Capricorns act like that concerning their horrid past; I can imagine most of people no matter what sign acting like that. And Capricorn isn't playful that much.Heavy is a team worker, while Capricorns in general aren't. I would always rather get job done my myself than asking anyone for help of assistance.
Personally, I would use Taurus to represent Heavy because he's a gourmet, he likes food (just look at his equipment), steady, strong, protective. He's like a real bull, won't show aggression until pushed too far. But at same time, although he looks like big giant bear, he can show his compassion and be a real team-mate.
I don't want to sound snotty, but as a person who likes to analyze people in astrological sense (I don't like daily astrology though), your combining of zodiac signs and TF2 classes kinda irked me. Apart from that, your art is very well done.

As I'd wanted to use all 12 signs and not have two characters representing one sign, I chose to have Heavy as Capricorn as the Engineer, a builder and homebody, is even more Taurus-like than the Heavy. I'm also quite fond of analyzing people, real and fictional, by their zodiacal signs, and I stand by my choices as being the closest I could get for each character- after all, no real person fits their sun sign 100%, and there are secondary factors that determine a person's nature beyond the stereotype of the sun sign itself.

Despite being goofy and derpy a lot of the time, the Heavy Weapons Guy is a very intelligent man. He also has a PHD in Russian Literature!
I've been trying to use colours associated with each sign while doing these, though I've had to break it a bit for a few because I don't want the picture to be visually unappealing or the figures too difficult to discern.
