Threetrees takes up the mantle of Chief after he, Dogman, Tul Duru, and Black Dow believe Logen died in the first chapter of The Blade Itself. He's almost as physically powerful as Ninefingers, nearly beating him in a duel, and has a strategic mind like the best generals of the time. He's also one of the most charismatic and heroic characters in the series.
