Seems like I failed at having an actual drawing break.
You guys suddenly gave me a whole bunch of ideas! Thanks for that.
So yeah - Mademoiselle Caultry is an intelligent mousette, and when seeing Birdie having difficulties reading her motherly feelings take over and she helps Birdie reading
I was having difficulties in drawing Sarah Caultry, I didn't know how far I could go in making her face more like that of a rat.
Luckily the drawings of WingsOfASong helped me.
Sorry if Sarah appears too small, I really tried my best ;__;

I noticed that when people compliment Birdie as a character, they mostly use the word "adorable" and such.
I didn't mean to create a character that would make people go have motherly feelings for, but I'm real grateful it turned out that way
Seriously, it makes me so proud ;__;
I mostly look up to other people's OC as a role model!
With Jane, I feel like "aw yea, go girl, speaking up to Stanislav like that"
And she's just so gorgeous ;___; Love that thick auburn hair <3

I honestly imagine that even when Jane would have trouble with keeping herself from shouting Birdie for whatever reason at first, with time she'll end up seeing her as the little sister she never had.
Well, Stanislav is just the kind of man Jane can't stand, we'll see if time changes that xDD
I love Birdie. She's full of emotions and I envy so much her happy nature.

I think it's mostly Birdie not judging others that makes her so loveable.
When Jane would get irritated easily, Birdie would just accept that as a part of her, something that makes Jane unique.
And Birdie would keep coming back.
I'd be so flattered if Jane ever starts thinking of Birdie as a little sister! D'awwww

I'm sure the moment Jane realizes that, she'll surrender to Birdie. As she expects people to react with harsh or impolite comments, she won't have any weapon to defend herself with and start trying to behave nicely around Birdie.
