Description
Final design for Eggman's robot in Sonic X issue 24, which was also written by me. It took a long time to get to this design, and we never could decide on a name for it. We even thought about having a contest to name it and then bringing it back later, but that never panned out.Related content

Oooh, very nice. Based on details, I'd say it was an attempt by Eggman to copy the abilities of the main Sonic trio. Am I right?

I love this robot so much! I think it has potential for the main comic series. After all, wasn't it Sonic who told Eggman that his friends were there to back him up when he couldn't win? This robot has the powers of Sonic's friends, too!

I love this design! I remember somebody mentioning a name for it that was never official. I think Ian Flynn said it, actually, but I could be wrong. Did you color this yourself? Also, I demand an appearance from this robot in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic! After all, Eggman needs to be able to fight Sonic's friends as well as Sonic. That's why he lost in issue 177, right?

look's like the robot is designed to mimic the abilities of tails and knuckles (and consequently sonic as well, I assume) while also avoiding mechanical complexity by using different techniques to perform the subject's signature techniques (a jet propulsion to match sonic's speed and tail's hover ability) which leads me to presume that the knuckles-like spikes either eject as missiles or extend and retract to fit the units cause.
I also think it may be of a set, possibly consisting of ones with different colors and abilities.

In any case its an awesome 'bot I'd love to see it in the comic in action.

a bot hands was like knuckles but the body is too like knuckles and the shoes like sonics

Oh I have that issue! It's my favorite out of all the Sonic X isssues I have!(I have about five). I thought the robot was the best part! I just love it's design!
Of course, I thought one of the best parts was:
Sonic: You guys will just slow me...
*gets hit with hammer*
Sonic: ...Down!
Sonic: Maybe we should work together.
Knuckles: That's unexpected.
