The lack of skin in this image is killing me. As you can see I took out my frustration on the background...
You should've seen how HOT he looked before I put clothes on him.
It even ended up as Ichigo at some point, like how he looked during the fight with Ulqi.
But then I convinced myself that I really have to draw this guy for the contest here: ( EDIT: Winners List here: tensa-zangetsu-fc.deviantart.c… )
The theme was Tensa Zangetsu in casual clothes. I liked the idea two months ago but now I just want to draw shirtless bishies, so this was hell. Jigoku, ahhhhh!!!
And so I began the task of painfully adding clothes to those sweet looking abs. *sigh*

EDIT: So I guess I should say a few things about this... well, Tensa Zangetsu said he only cared about Ichigo, and as such I made everything around him to look like ruins. No matter what happens around him he won't care as long as Ichigo is safe. Awww, I miss him... will we ever see him again? Or... maybe... he did the destruction? If he only cares about Ichigo then he'd go to any length to protect him. Which reminds me... he shouldn't have taught Ichigo the Final Getsuga Tenshou. -.-

I am crazy about this Opening, I love the song. Anyway, so the reason why I was surprised is because they seem to fit the anime very well, like it's talking about the episodes to come, especially when it comes to Ichigo and Tensa Zangetsu. "That nothing else matters" line really made me chuckle, since I drew TS like this and even put up that title. xD

The only thing that bothers me about this pic is...well, to me it looks like Tensa's feet are a bit disproportionate. Though that could very well just be because of the way his pants are covering them. Otherwise, this is a beautiful piece.

But since you made me laugh with the "Nothing Else Matters" comment, I'm gonna show you how it looked at some point without clothes, so you can decided.. I dunno... I'm still not good enough at drawing to see obvious mistakes.. apparently.

Lol, yeah, the other version I know of is done by Lucie Silvas, though I do like the Metallica version. XD
After looking at the pre-sketch, I have determined that your proportions were right, it simply looked off because of how the pants fell. So excellent job on that! And yeah, I have severe issues with drawing hands too; takes me thirty minutes to an hour (depending on the pic) to even remotely make them look how I want...and people wonder why I go through erasers so fast. XD

Or maybe I just drew the pants wrong. I was near my limit when I started colouring the char ( I wasted too much time on the background -.-' ). Sometimes I get the hands right in like one try ( rarely ), other times not even in a few hours. xD
I certainly do not miss the paper, pencil and the eraser. I hated those, I could never draw details ( since I draw full body images most of the times ). >.<

Eh, I always draw traditional style simply because I don't have the patience to learn how to properly use a tablet. My sister on the other hand, draws traditional and then does the ink and coloring with a tablet.

In my opinion, if we all drew similar clothes then the contest would've been boring. :\
On a side note, I sort of drew the smexy TS too, but I cropped a lot of the image, I was too lazy to draw finish everything... even if I actually sort of did... the legs, the hakama too... but I got bored of the drawing when I had to paint his right hand so I just cut a lot of the image.

Well, I was thinking of drawing her in her normal form, not ressurection, because in my opinion that mask on her face looks freakin' awesome.
