Description Another acrylic. This time it's Ivory. He's Eugenes greatest rival (sense a theme?)

seeing the paint strokes is pretty great, it brings a nice mood to the picture, I also dig how his eyes are the brightest color in the picture it brings alot of atention to his gaze, nice stuff

Thanks! yea i like it when you can see the paint strokes in paintings. When people blend alot it ends up looking really muddy to me. I love being able to see and feel the paint, it creates a nice texture and another element to the painting other then what you see. I mean what?

I can dig it, I like seeing the paint strokes for the same reasons, it promotes a warmer feeling when you can sortof feel what the painter was feeling while painting the picture. its also nice to see when you understand the painter actually took so much time to do the painting, or something.
Yeah when the paint is blended on the canvas too much it just feels to cold and generic to me.....
