About GoldGeneral information.
Gold Star is a friendly pegasus that is more over a pacifist. She is afraid of caves, and statues due to an event earlier in her life that almost killed her. She was saved by some ponies from Brightwood village, the where she was born and raised in. But later on moved to Ponyville where she lives with her marefiend Ruby Wings, and their three fillies; Shattered, Faith, and Trust.
Gold have always loved to run, and have participated in running contest ever since she was a filly. But she isn't very competitive, she does it more for fun than anything else, her talent however doesn't lies in her running. But rather the agility she have.
Others have helped Gold so much under her life, and therefore is trustworthy of others, even complete strangers.
About her leg.
When Gold was a filly she got attacked by some kind of stone creature. That injured her leg, the injury to her leg was so bad that it had to be removed.
About her mechanical leg.

Why did you come up with the character Gold?
A: I had another OC before Gold, hes name is Moon. I made kind of a fanfic in my head about Moon, He was going to kidnap Princess Celestia. But i thought that would be to hard alone. First i thought of Fluttershy. But found that unlikely so i made up a nameless pony, (that later became Gold).
How did you came up with the idea for her mechanical leg?
A: I wanted Moon's assistance to have some unique "gimmick" so i took the first best thing i could came up with.
Why is her name Gold?
A: I needed a name for Moon's nameless assistance, So i thought her nickname would be Gold for all metals inside Golds mechanical leg would be in a golden color. But that nickname became her name later on.
How did came up with the idea for the fanfic?
A: I normally put my OC Moon in movies/series/stories i like. So MLP was no except
