Personality:
To Pezzottaite
When alone with Pezz, Hod tends to show his softer side, being gentle and considerate. He's romantic towards her and tries to be as helpful as he can. He could get defensive if anyone would dare to challenge her.

To everyone else
Hod can be seen as stern and presents himself formally in front of both inmates and staff. He has a tendency to be impatient when it comes to handling situations or speaking to other gems, as he constantly thinks that time is being wasted. Hod could also be quite scrupulous. For example, whenever he's walking around prison grounds, his attentive eyes will scan everything. If anything would be out of place, he would act upon his own judgement—making him quite the independent gem. Hod has a very cold, dismissive personality and will not hesitate to punish those who do not abide by the prison’s laws. Over that, Hod seems to almost always appear deadpan, his facial expression devoid of any emotion, making him a bit unpredictable, as well.

Appearance: A dull pink gem with a nose ring and a "mask" that covers his nose bridge and forehead. He has scarlet markings under his eyes, which are pure black except for his white irises (that may seem to glow). He wears a feathery cape with a fur collar. His top is a plain purple/pink color with an upside down V and his prison insignia on it. He has what seems like bandages wrapped around his stomach area and his upper arms. Hod also wears dull purple leggings with the prison insignia where his knees are and black boots.

Abilities:
> Fire manipulation:
Is able to pull out a considerate amount of fire from his gem and move them however he wants.
> Mental manipulation:
- He is able to control other people's minds within a radius.
- He could make others get headaches. It could be from a slight aching to a crippling pain. Some side effects could be dizziness or exhaustion.
- He has the ability to give others auditory/visionary hallucinations. It's mainly the creepy hallucinations, such as figures who aren't actually there or false sounds such as screaming, knocking, walking, etc. rather than psychedelic hallucinations.
> Joint manipulation / Arthrokinesis:
Hod could manipulate other's joints, like puppets. It takes work though because keeping all joints in control is difficult.
> Teleportation:
Disappearing in a flash might be handy. He can only teleport a distance up to 50 feet away from where he was.

Other:
> Hod's eyes become completely black (aka the white irises disappear) when he's upset.
> Hod's in love with Pezzottaite mwah

> backstory:
Hodgkinsonite was a soldier that was made a couple hundred years before the Gem War—which he’d fought in. After the war began to die down, he was assigned to track down and contain as many rebels as possible, before they dispersed throughout the galaxy. During one of his patrols, Hodgkinsonite discovered a planet that was populated by a large number of rebels, who have settled there for refuge. He captured and contained numerous rebels, and found them to hold valuable knowledge of the rebellion. The Diamonds allowed Hodgkinsonite to build a massive prison, to contain the rebels he’d captured over the centuries after the Gem War. Since then, Hodgkinsonite had constructed an entire system to carry on his job as the Superintendent of the prison.
