i Havent tried using ur Vista Tweak pack.. but I already downloaded it..
but havent tried all of them, coz im starting familiarizing Vista OS.. its my 1st time u know..
and i dont want to tweak it, before i explored everything...
i dont even know all those new functions/commands in control panel
dont worry my friend, i always support all ur great shares..
and very thankfull for it, Sorry but i will try it ASAP!
i already experiencing BSOD on my Vista, that's why i wanna know 1st where can i fix bugs on my PC..
1.1ghz and 512mb of ram is not really for vista.. so, i expect more BSOD's..

WOW! thats what i called a real PC
that's why u can make a very nice and high quality graphics, coz u have powerfull PC..
on my part when i tried to make complex graphics on Photoshop, my pc getting slow, cant do a lot on it..
Wish i can have a power pc like yours.. but i dont have a job right now, maybe additional RAM will do..
if someone can give me an 1GB SDRAM PC133 for my IBM Thinkpad T23, that would be awesome.. Heheh.

ya - I have pieced it together over the past couple of years... Before this one I was running a 566 MHz (yes, 566 MEGA-hertz, Pentium III). It was beyond painful. I had it maxed out a 128 MB SDRAM and a 40 gig hard drive (the same drive Vista is now installed on). I went to reinstall XP and I only had the upgrade version. I got halfway through and it crashed. When I went to restart the install process, it wouldn't install because it couldn't find a previous version of windows needed for the "upgrade"...

So to make a long story short, I visited the electronics store to get a FULL version of XP and walked out with a new case, motherboard, processor and enough RAM to get me started. I think I also purchased a the 80 gig drive at that time too. Cost me just short of $400. I already had the 40 gig drive a CD-R and the DVD-ROM/CD-R. Plus I used my existing monito, keyboard and mouse. Everything else has come as I needed and or could afford it. The next thing to comeis a faster processor... but it runs pretty good as is. The RAM is the key. More RAM makes all the difference in the world...

I had some some DDR memory sitting around but that won't work for you. If I had some spare memory I would send it your way...

dont know yet if its SP1.. but i already updated it w/ latest updates and patches
and i heard that SP1 can be installed through Windows Update or download Standalone..
and i already did Windows Updates just now..

i dont set it to automatic, but i do check everyday ..
by the way, id check my version, it says 6.0.6000 (builid 6000) and i think its not sp1 yet..
do u have any link to download sp1 standalone installer? coz i tried windows update but no sp1 on available updates..

my winver is 6.0.6000 .. but i already updated it using windows update ... how can i update to sp1?
and also, how did u manage to run Aero? i didnt see aero in theme section on my pc..

You're not being very clear. Did you look in Themes? Or Window Colour and Appearance? Because in themes, it'll only say Windows Vista or Windows Classic. In Window Colour and Appearance, it'll Display all the skins...

Well, Vista RTM is Build 6.0.6000 and you can only update to SP1 if you're a MSDN member or a TechNet member. And they both cost some money... Or you can wait till March. Vista SP1 would be a nice Birthday Present (for me anyway)

The Vista SP1 is already available to some members of the Microsoft. In March he will already be available (well, until you get here to Brazil will take a bit ).

Im on Vista coz i like the way ur sharing stuff for XP,
so i think of why not try Vista itself.. Heheh..

You can smoothen its working more by stopping some of the automatic startup services, which are usually not necessary.

My crap PC (with onboard 32MB S3 ProsavageDDR) graphics also runs Vista Ultimate, but not that smooth, it works the same as XP would run on any 4 year old machine with 128 SDRAM. My PC also has 768MB SDRAM, with an old P4 1.7GHz Processor...in short a 4 year old PC!! I was also surprised to see that actually fulfilling Vista's minimal system requirements, it can actually run on any PC, and that too the Ultimate version!! I have made a conclusion that the smooth running of Vista depends totally on a good processor, which I don't have!!

Anyways, its good that you have actually tried your hand Vista off late...check out the screenshot of my crappy PC running Vista Ultimate 32-bit...in my gallery offcourse!!
