Thank you! Definitely my favorite piece to date. It's the one time I can recall when I saw in my head became infused with reality on paper. Would definitely like to revisit gouache again.

Long time, no reply, but thank you~ This is definitely one of my more successful ventures in gouache. And I'm glad you noticed the many layers that went into conceptualizing this painting.

Thank you! That means a lot to me.  I think this piece was also marked the turning point in gouache for me. Starting off, I couldn't shake the feeling it was a more chalky watercolor with drastic color shifts from wet to dry but after working with it a little more it grew on me. And now I almost feel like I prefer it over watercolor in terms of work flow.
