Description Very messy 15min doodles if anyone wants to try better the full image of the horse and rider go ahead, then send me a link so I can see wot you did the clothes have been done without reference. it started out as a picture of a character from a book I read, called Wheel of Time, the women in the book wore split riding dresses I tried to do an image search of anything in those days and the most I got was a sidesaddle dress so I drew it the way I imagined in the book. the two horse heads was a challenge to see if I could draw different sides of the same horse because the tack design was without reference too
And if you understood nothing of that I’m sorry

I found this by complete accident, but I'm glad I did!

For having no clothes references they're very good - just watch out because the rider's leg is forward and wouldn't be very effective there (Still, this was typical riding years back, and in some of the old saddleseats, so maybe it was on purpose?)
I love your bridle design, with the flared cheekpieces! The two partial studies are beautifully done. I love the expression in the eyes and how you've thought about where the hands would be. The shoulders of the main piece are depicted with very good musculature, but the hindquarters and hooves look a little off to me. Lastly, it's sort of fashionable for horses to have the very arched necks, but - and I don't know if you know - it's bad for them to flex there, rather than at the poll. The horse's profile should be vertical to mean they're using their neck properly, so this one's a little overbent. Again, though, maybe its on purpose because of fashion, or that's the way they rode in the book - which I confess I haven't read. I may have to look into it.

For fifteen minutes, these are really good - and I'm going to check out the rest of your gallery now!

i really like it! one thing i noticed though was the bottom horses back hoof (the one on the ground) needs to be a bit more defined as it looks like it is swollen. the hock or pastern or whatever it is (the heel bit) needs to be a bit more curved. other than that its great!

I think they're all lovely. ^_^ However, if you do decide to go back and change something, the rider's leg is swinging too far forward IMO. x3

I could stare at this all day, you are ever so very skilled! Geez 'o' pizzas! I think the woman looks fantastic, and I think the split-riding dress looks like I'd imagine...sort of like thoes "gaucho" pants everyone was wearing a couple summers ago. I honestly don't think anything about this could be improved upon. You've done a fantastic job.
