Meh!I was really boarded the other day and doodled this, something I hate about traditional, once you’ve messed something up, it stays messed up! That’s why digital is so much better, if you have a mistake its not to difficult to fix
I don’t really like this much, but thought I should post it anyway, it’s a portrait of the horse that taught me how to ride, he’s name is Royal Fred, I dunno if he’s still alive, but he was a super little pony
pitty I haven’t done him any justice!Crappy photo! The original looks much better! Maybe one day when I’ve got monies I will buy a cool scanner and flood your inbox with mah traditional crap hehe

Re digital vs trad - True that! Digital is great because you can just edit and edit... A bit of trad here and there is good exercise though, I was told once by some artist guy that a great thing to do is sketch in biro or some other uneraseable pen... and resist the temptation to chuck the results away if they turn out wrong

LOL! one of my favourite things to do is sketch in ball point pen, and one of the really great things i've learned from sketching in ballpoint is that its made me a little less likely to make a mistake when sketching
i need to scan this, the photo just made it look wrong hehe.

Amazing detail on this one. I know exacly what you mean, traditional is so hard because you can't almost never fix a mistake when in digital you can.

It looks great, and you have done him plenty justice I'm sure, although the proportions are a little off
