I think I can best describe the picture with a wonderful comment my treasure made in one of the many emails |DDawwwwww! That pic is totally fricken adorable love! Kelvin's expression is PERFECT for such a scene, as he would be so totally focused on the joy, half to embrace the moment, half to ignore any protests Calir was making. XDDDD
Calir's ocd powered, "You broke the rule!!!!!! Personal space!!!" face is just as precious! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 i am totally picturing this, as the fist time Kelvin dares to do that with Calir; in a moment of utter delight, with the medic totally frozen in dismay and sensory overload. There is a 3 second counter ticking down in the upper left corner of the picture, every one adding a popping vein to calir's forehead. At zero, the whole screen just blacks out with a big, "SMACK!" written across in diagonal. ROFLROFLROFLFOFRLOFL!!!!!!!
As much, as Calir would hate it, I gotta say I love it. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 *looks up at him with a shrug and a smile, knowing anything else would be a lie*

So. Jetzt muss ich das hier auch mal kommentieren... x3 ~ Es ist einfach absolut zauberhaft!
Kelvins Lächeln ist einfach nur .. asdfghjk... ;A;!! Er sieht SO glücklich aus. Als ob er jeden Moment vor Freude platzt und das stell ich mir so schön vor! Das ist dir wirklich ganz ganz toll gelungen!! Er wächst mir immer mehr ans Herz, weil deine Bilder ihn so wunderbar einfangen und er einfach nur absolut sympatisch scheint und Lebensfreude pur ausstrahlt - ganz besonders in diesem Bild.
Auf der anderen Seite ist Calir - völlig überrascht und erschrocken über die plötzliche Nähe und den Übermut von seinem kleinen Drachen. Und es lässt ihn eindeutig nicht kalt, das Kelvin ihn da so anherzt... NYA!!! *nach Worten sucht*
Das Bild ist einfach durch und durch herzlich ;A; Und dazu das Meer und der Himmel... (Kitsch perfect xD ABER ES PASST SO TOLL!)

Kelvin ist allerdings ziemlich glücklich!! <3<3<3 Immerhin hatte er Calir in einem Augenblick erwischt, wo der Medik sich ihm nicht so schnell entziehen konnte; ertappt, sozusagen XD Kelvin ist einfach nur pure Lebensfreude, da hast du absolut recht! Uuuund er strahlt ebenso starken Optimismus aus, während Calir eher die realistische Seite übernimmt |D
...maaanchmal tendiert der Medik auch in die pessimistische Richtung, aber davon halten sie sich eigentlich gegenseitigziemlich gut ab xD *hurr hurr*
Ja, das stimmt, es lässt Calir alles andere als kalt; vor allem er war Umarmungen und Nähe gewöhnt von klein an! :'O
Ich erkläre es dir gerne ^^ Die Gesellschaft der Solaris kannst du dir eigentlich als eine nahezu absolut perfekte Gesellschaft vorstellen; alles ist geregelt, es gibt keine Gewalt, die Meinung des Einzelnen wird geschätzt, die Kinder werden sachgemäß erzogen (entweder durch die eigene Familie oder die jeweilige Erziehungsstätte) und ausgebildet in den Bereichen, in denen sie gut sind. Zum Beispiel, Calir, der mit zwei Linsen geboren wurde, wurde von seiner Familie an das medizinische Institut abgegeben, in noch sehr jungem Alter. Es musste leider so sein, denn zwei Linsen sind nicht arg selten aber immer ein besonderer Fall, und wegen dem eindeutigen Blattsymbol um seine Lebenslinse, wusste selbst seine Familie, dass er zum Heiler wird. Es war keine vollkommene Trennung von der Familie, seine Eltern und Brüder durften ihn besuchen. Aber ab dem Augenblick wo das Institut sich seiner annahm, übernahm es auch all die Verantwortung für den Jungen; sprich er wurde gelehrt und ausgebildet von klein an. Er wurde also von mehreren Mentoren großgezogen und hat zu seiner Familie nicht viel Verbindung. Die Studienkollegen, Mentoren und Klassenkameraden wurden sozusagen zu seiner Familie. Der Junge kam damals nicht mal dazu seine Familie an sich zu vermissen, weil er sie zu wenig kannte und viel zu früh weggegeben wurde. Er schätzt und respektiert seine Eltern, aber er hat eben keine Verbindung zu ihnen; und da er nicht weiß, wie eine richtige leibliche Familie funktioniert, kann er es also nicht vermissen ^__^;;
Die Solaris spüren den anderen durch die Lebenslinsen; jeder ist für den anderen da (sogar eine, dir vollkommen fremde Person, würde nicht warten wenn du in der Not steckst). Und als Calir dann nach.. nun nach der 'Jagd' vollkommen alleine geblieben war, war es schon ziemlich heftig für ihn. Er hatte keinen mehr 'gehört' und keinen mehr gespürt. Die Solaris spüren sich gegenseitig mehr, als dass sie z.B. auf die Gesichtszüge achten. Wenn einer fröhlich ist, dann strahlt er eine gewisse Art Resonanz aus und das spüren die anderen drum rum. Wenn einer stirbt und das Lebenslicht in ihm erlischt, dann ist es immer mit fast schon seelischen Schmerz verbunden. Und das, wenn eine Person stirbt.. Stell dir vor tausende sterben um dich herum? ;;___;;
Nun ja, aufgrund sehr vielen und sehr drastischen Veränderungen in seinem Leben, war Calir gezwungen auf Distanz gehen. Er musste lernen die Menschen, die er nicht spürte, zu verstehen und lernte ihre Gesichtszüge zu lesen, aus den Noten ihrer Stimmen Empfindungen herauszufiltern. Das also, was für uns vollkommen verständlich ist, musste er sich mit viel Mühe und viel Zeit beibringen. Und ab einem bestimmten Punkt erschien körperliche Nähe sehr fremd, ab einem weiteren - beängstigend und später nichts als Unwohlsein verursachend ;;__;; Deswegen ist es da sehr spezifisch und mag nicht angefasst werden, weißt du? Kaum zu glauben dass es einst vollkommen anders war *sniff*

Hach. .w. Nun ich glaube, Kelvin macht es ihm bestimmt einfach, dessen Gesicht zu lesen? Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass der Drachenjunge sehr offen mit seinen Gefühlen ist öö;
Ich hoffe, Calir kann eines Tages wieder Nähe ertragen und es stört ihn dann nicht mehr .___.
(Btw, noch mal großen Respekt dass du so einen extrem vielschichtigen und faszinierenden Charakter entwickelt hast! *_*)

(Well, Kelvin blushes blue, so Calir being green is valid too. Like, when he gets embarrased or something that would make him blush, his red blood does go up to make a blush, but at the same time his power lines sort of overcharge, so the ones in his face shine bright enough that they cover the red blush and give off their own. OR his blood is the fuel for the lines, so the concentration in his cheeks power the light show. XD)

(That's kind of cute xD I mean, the mental image definitely is! Since Calir's lines naturally shine bright and even brighter, when he is excited; but they never glow as luminescent, as Kelvin's blush! The half dragon beats all the records here |D However in the dark - NO BED SCENES - I assume your theory would be definitely fitting, since the normal human-like blush effect would be most probably over layered by the gleam of Calir's cheek lines. Gosh that's an interesting idea for a picture XD)

How can they not 'glow'? They ALWAYS glow! He must be interesting to watch in the darkness. (Lights off foreplay stripping, you see nothing but lines marking his figure as he slowly undresses. That's an interesting mental image. XD)

They both had had time to things a lot of things to do.
Not that Rune has not either, once Rahnor used a mask to join a party at Sin where Rune was, hoping to sort of convince him into a masked date while he was unaware of who he was, but the party was shirtless, and Rune knows Rahnor's body too well, he saw the small marks, the few 'freckles' near his collarbone, and called him out on the attempt after some toying around.
Amen to that.
Funny thing I was thinking about for a plot (One I would never use, but still).
Without warning, Rune's time machine just appears in front of the HQ, and inside they find a girl, also 25 year old (like everyone else) long dark brown hair, unconcious.
They take her in to ask her from where, or rather when, she comes from.
When she wakes up, she sees everyone around, looks at Rune with a half-aware stare, and then says 'Good morning, dad.'
Cue Rune nope-ing into the horizon.

I think your story, with your characters, their intentions and overall timespan, is wonderfully set in your universe ^^ I love reading about other's OC's, their relationships and their stories :') What I like most, however, are funny and humorous moments, as well, as sentimental and realistic ones; and I think I will find enough of those in your story, as I've already come to enjoy your characters quite a bit! <3

He did not count it as a fail though, he learned that Rune does in fact look at him when he goes shirtless, enough to memorize his body, despite Rune denying all. This is a big step for him, its a clear 'he wants me' signal, and thinking about him slowly mentioning (when he was still masked and thinking Rune was not aware) how his body was 'familiar' with these dots forming that pattern on his collarbone, or the curves of his muscles, all the while tracing them with his fingers. (Rune is quite the flirt when he wants to, he may look tame, but he is one kinky son of a bitch, even by the future's standards.) Thinking about this makes him very giddy, like imaging the moment when he finally gets a kiss, but this one has happened for reals.
It does not even end there, he goes on to freak out.
"I dont want kids! I never did, and never will!"
"Maybe something changed your mind?" Offers Tear (one of his guardians, and one of the shippers of Rune and Rahnor. All his guardians do)
"I find that very unlikely." Rune replies with worry beneath his voice.
"Well... father wanted one..." Then mutters the girl in question.
"Father? You said I was your father." Rune asks confused, hoping she just confused him with someone else.
"Eh? ... Oh, no, no, you are dad." she says as she points towards Rahnor "THAT's father."
Cue nopefest part 2, while Rahnor just stands there digesting the fact he has a daughter and that he now has proof that he will convince Rune eventually.
Allt he while all the girl guardians squeal behind them. (Including Rune's ex wife. Go figure.)
The entire scene just makes me laugh a lot and gives me a warm feeling as its a very corny and fluffy scene.
Yes, that reaction is correct, mostly after the 'father' moment, and after Rune recovers from the mental breakdown.
"Come on, I'm sure I will be a good father! Its not that bad."
"SHUT UP, we are NOT having kids!"
"Ah, so only kid-less sex, huh?" Asks Merrill (Rune's guardian, the pirate queen, she loves toying with them)
"Yes... wait, NO! NONONO!"
