My entry to 's contest!Yes, I finished it in time!
It's her OC Declan, sitting in forest, reading some poetry (maybe his poetry
), with Merrick and horses in backround. You can see even his snake, but there is just part of it's body showing. I used one of this textures only for fine-tuning the image: [link]

Oh my dear Yone, it's about hight time that I get to comment on all those pictures of yours that have been in my inbox since months but which were completely ignored by me due to stress and laziness 
So first of all, you created a really great ambiance here! Good job on that. Everything is so green and vivid and ... well, it's basicly a forest and not just some trees and grass which are standing around. There are so many little details like the mushrooms on the trees or the little flowers in the grass and the trees in the back getting lighter and more like silhouttes which make this scene so vibrant. The shading on the clothes is cool aswell.
Maybe Declans sitting pose could be a bit more precise, because he sits there kinda odd, and maybe the horses are a tiny bit too big (though I know that horses are hella tall! Maybe it's just me), but apart from that it's a fantastic scene.

Most of them are new ones.
This was my best forest. XD I usually do not draw forests so often, so it was nice that this turned out like this... unfortunetelly I had bad settings of colors of monitor, so it's a bit more dark and the highligt colors are too bright.
Yeah, I know, there are anathomy mistakes.
They are tall... and black one has so much thick neck. I'm not good in drawing horses.

What you tell about that picture and the way you worked with it is interesting! And I'm sure you will improve those little details and mistakes! Just keep going the way you do, because I think you're doing pretty fine!

Tohle je mooc krásné. Barevně i všelijak. Ty stromy jsou fascinující a koně vypadají skvěle. (I když mě trochu děsí jak má ten vraník široký krk. XD Používala jsi reference?) A taky se mi lbí flíčky světla, protože to vážně vnáší takovou tu lesní atmosféru, jak prosvítává světlo listím.

Reference nebyli tady o toho obrázku použity na nic. Koně jsou... bez gumování a jenom naskicnutí, nějak moc jsem se jimi nezabývala. XD (a fakt má dost tlustý krk). Ono protože jsem se o té soutěži dozvěděla 14. večer a celého patnáctého jsem byla pryč- s tím, že dnes je deadline, tak jsem se strašně moc soustředila na to, aby všecko bylo co nejlepší v co nejkratším čase.

asi jsem byla příliš okouzlena atmosférou toho obrázku, že mě nenapadlo si to přečíst celé ^^
