Whoa, I can't believe the hours that went into this already. The patterns are really difficult but I'm enjoying working them out. For the skirt I had a lot of trouble, first because I wanted the colors to be a basic continuation of the top and sleeves, and also because there were the folds at the bottom. I wanted the pattern to follow the folds, I hope that worked a bit.I'm working with about six marker colors and black/white pens. Some pencil and crayon too. Now I'm lost as to what to do with the two fabrics XD
This is still dedicated to =hellobaby who makes beautiful artwork with unbelievably complex dresses, patterns, folds, and other details!! My inspiration for this picture, go check her out!

Hmmm....She should be sitting underneath a Blossoming tree in a palace garden of some sort. Actually...weren't most of those types of gardens in the center of a palace? So some of the palace would be in the background...or at least a palace wall. Those gardens are so cool, the ones with a ponds full of Koi fish! Anyways, it would make your picture seem even more like a classic ink painting. God....why am I obsessed with that theme when it comes to this picture?

Thanks, this is the first time I really try it to the extreme (hopefully something a little bit like =hellobaby can do) XD
But basically you start with a frame first.

More or less. In any direction. And then try to wobble the frame to follow the folds! XD If you know what I mean. Then coming up with what you actually want to use as pattern thats the hardest....!!

Ooh ok, maybe it helps for me that I'm working on my final thesis and I really need to get away from the difficult texts during my breaks and focus on something nice to put my mind to ^^
