I was aiming for a smoothly shaded face with a sarcastic and demeaning expression, as if she's saying "yeah right". Furthermore, I wondered if the colour combination was ok and if there was enough contrast.

As far as the expression goes, I think you did well. Maybe change the angle of the eye brows or the slanting of the eyelids. You can even make the eyes look up to an upper corner of the paper to give it a sort of "eye roll" effect.
As for color, i think it's great as it is, especially with the shading and lighting effects since those are things I've seen several struggle with. But as note for the future, maybe a little pop of a complimentary color or even a colored background can make a portrait stand out.

Have you ever looked at characters like raven queen from ever after high or the animated version of Mel from Descendants?
Maybe take the sort of "bored" look they have and slant the eyes like they are just bored out of their mind

U did amazing job ,only thing i would a bit change is the right eye (its a bit bigger ) .
