You know, there's been one thing about the angels in "Slightly Damned" that's been screaming at me to mention as it were. Angels are described as having very pale skin, blue eyes , and snow white hair. Maybe I'm thinking too much but those are also the traits of a human with albinism.
It's not that it bothers me it's just the fact that I couldn't help but point that out. Then again I probably didn't look hard enough on the forums to see if anyone else noticed.

I thought albinos had red eyes, or bloodshot eyes... maybe I'm just thinking of albino mice.

Humans with albinism can have blue or red eyes, though albino mice and other animals usually have red eyes. Actually the "color points" in Siamese cats are also the result in a form of albinism.
Frankly though I'm also sure the similarities between Chu's angels and albino humans are just a coincidence as well. You are right though the qualities are rather popular in anime which is probably part of what influenced Chu to choose those qualities. Like I said before I think me mentioning this is simply the result of me thinking too much.
