how do you guys get the hair ribbon to stay up, and your hair to stay styled?? I always have so much trouble with it...

The hair is actually a wig. To style it like that you need 2 things, a brush and hairspray. It's always good to buy good quality wigs, otherwise it'd probably look pretty bad since they do not have as much hair. Specially if you want to make spikes.
And if you want the ribbon to stay up like that, just put thin wire inside the bow before you sew it, then bend it upwards and you are done.
