As an amateur needlefelter your art is so much GOALS. it's amazing!!
If I may ask, how do you get the fuzzy texture on the last row of pictures? Do you brush the felt to get it to soften? or are you adding short fuzzy bits? I'm used to seeing the texture on the middle right picture xD

This is a special reverse needle. The thin needle pulls out the wool.

Oh, thank you! I didn't even know such a thing existed. I'll have to look into getting one, I love how it makes them look!

This looks amazing! As someone who doesn't know much about needle felting though, going from pic 1 to pic 2 reminds me of those how to draw books where it's like "draw some circles....now draw the rest of the wolf!" lol

Help me understand, is it a clay structure with felt over it or is it condensed felt?

100% pure wool from Bulgaria. Nose and tongue of polymer clay.

That looks fantastic! I'm a knitter and trying to learn how to spin yarn. I think I'd like to dabble in needle felting since I'll have extra fiber on hand. Are there certain types of fiber/breeds of fiber-producing animals that are better to work with?

This is stunning, totally spot on! And the non felted features blend in so effortlessly with the character. May I ask if you buy your glass eyes or paint them yourself?

You have a real talent for them then! The tutorial looks so simple, but the effect is very realistic and works so well for small scale

It's crazy simple with a little starter kit that you can find practically at any craft store. I have a friend that does a small-scale version of felting, she's just nowhere near as good.Β
FabulousSnakeCharmer is her user if you want to ask her about it.
