Description
This step by step and carefully explained tutorial covers basic eye/face coloring, detailed hair and fur, etc. (mostly basics on how to do realistic drawings)! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO DRAW THE HUMAN ANATOMY OR REALISTIC FORMS, but instead is a tutorial for how to cg or color realistically.
Since many people keep asking me if this works on photoshop versions such as 7.0, CS, CS2 or CS3, the answer is yes. If this works in ps elements then it should obviously work on higher versions.
Wow! I see my tutorial being linked on all kinds of sites other than da. Thanks guys for the over 5,000 favs and over 100,000 views
Tools: Wacom Graphire 2 4x5 tablet, photoshop elements 3.0.

If you do decide to use this tutorial for any of your drawings, crediting is highly appreciated. Also please do link me to it so that I can see! Have fun and enjoy.
finished piece for the hair part is here: [link]

This. Tutorial. Is. AMAZING! Gah. I've been working a lot recently on my realistic drawings, but my actual coloring is pretty much....... rudimentary. Child like. All sorts of fun words I could find for it. =.= Coloring used to be my nemesis.... but I am conquering it! Huzzah! Anywho. This tutorial is great, I just barely started playing with it with a sketch today, and though I see parts I need to work on to fix up better.... so far it's looking so much better than my old stuff. IMPROVEMENT AHOY! <3 Thank you so much for sharing this with us little peons.... I am going to enjoy playing with all these new bits (especially the hair! I love the hair!) so much. Thankyou thankyou thankyou!! ^-^

Your coloring skills are so awesome! >< mine stink lol. I just haven't been able to figure out how to color well in PS for some reason. Could you do one for long hair please or put up a tip. My strokes always look messy and fake.

wait - so did you actually DRAW THE PERSON that your using i your example or is it like a picture or something? I get confused by how the colors are all simple and noticeable and then all of a sudden become ULTRA REAL
