Aw that's so nice! You should have a go ! There's some great you tube how to's out there, I've learnt a lot this past year ... but nothingΒ beats just diving in . You can pick up some pretty cheap paints and papers , but a few decent brushes are a must . A really good stepping stone is water colour pencils. Am I rambling now ? Ha ha just message me if you want any advice

Wow thanks for the encouragement! I've never liked using colors, but then I went all digital and started using them. Now I want to do something traditional again so I'm going to draw with a pencil for a few weeks then I'm going to add some colors (:

You're so brave ! Ha ha ! I wouldn't know where to start with digi art! Maybe you could give me some tips one day
I know what you mean about colour , when I returned to art I was like you and did lots of sketching . Then I tried watercolour pencils. which you can use like a pencil , then with clean water and a brush make them more like paint. Then I remebered I had a little set of travel watercolours and just dabbled ... then... jumped in with both feet and bought a Hake brush. Google it, they are amazing! Ha ha!

Digital is IMO easier than traditional... it's much more forgiving... you have a option to go back a few steps, use layers... The only thing is to get used to graphic tablet and I would say go for Wacom... I'm not sure about the newer models, but I had a Genius tablet a few years ago and it was kinda bad... then I switched to Wacom and fell in love.

Aw thanks for replying , I bought my son A Bamboo is it? For Christmas last year as he's more into Anime etc. But I have never had the courage to try it out ! Ha ha! One of these days ....thanks for the programme tip tho

i actually meant front legs, but i guess the way i look at it i didnt see the leg in middle, probs my brainmy thought it was stick comin out of Β rock. Β i dont know xD
