'steal' is a very sensitive word. My OC may have similar design to yours but not all that, not same character, name or backstory

It's okay. It's not meant literally steal. I used a character template posted here a few years ago as the basis of another character and she become something completely different than what was in the image.
But I wouldn't worry. I don't have any plans on publishing the book any time soon or in the years to come. I just thought it would be a good source of inspiration for my high fantasy novel.
I'm just in desperate need of having something fun to do. Something to break me out of this two year writing drought.
So don't change anything about your OC. She's a very well drawn character and like I said, a good source of inspiration.

It's okay. I know how artists feel about people lifting their work without giving so much as a shout out in the credits. But my character has changed a bit here and there. I believe she's human--having taken human form. But she's an eternal. And an island native. Her tribe sister looks almost like her in every respect, so I've made some tiny alterations.
Beyond that, it's just a matter of furthered character development.
But I think in the end, she will be who I want her to be. However, your artwork has been a real blessing to give me some ideas on how to breathe life into my character.
So don't feel so bad when writers like me want life to imitate art. It brings out the best in our stories. So count yourself lucky that you have a fan of your work and someone who appreciates the work you put into it.
But when the cover gets made, I'll share it with you as a personal bonus, so you can see what my imagination came up with. (It won't be what you have--just so you know.)
