I found Ward a pretty lacklustre villain after he transformed into Hive. But in the last episode when he crazy tentacle monster as in the comics I immediately loved him. He was menacing as hell and the CGI was incredible. Spend that Disney money Agents of SHIELD. Spend it.Related content

For a minute, I swear I thought he was gonna pull a Davy Jones on Coulson and kill him with his weird tenticles. I just kept waiting-- then it was a hologram and the idea died

Hives tentacles are way thicker than Jones' though he'd have a hard time stuffing them up some some guys nose :') That'd be a gross way for Coulson to go out though, he's been through a lot poor guy.
