Description
Alright, so I've extracted the entire city and mountains from my previous TCF '09 model and decreased the size of the textures in the city. I used the sky from Baster's TCF '09 V10 model. I have started adding billboards, but I did it a little differently this time. Instead of the whole billboard being so bright, I made them not emit itself, instead I put a point light under the billboards to make them illuminate in a realistic way. The camera animation has been taken care of. As you can see, I still got a lot to do. What's with the searchlights looking different you ask? Well, I made them from scratch. I followed the 4K format of the 20th Century FOX 2009 intro as a reference. The mountains and city itself appear to be dark still, so I'll try and make them lighten up a bit somehow.Related content

It's looking good thus far. Be sure to follow my advice on how to pack images.

ya know, I do have one thing to ask: can you not put signs and billboards all over the place, cause it can be a way that makes it as a "remake"

The answer to that is a "yes". I am absolutely not planning on littering the city with signs and billboards like last time. I'll only just put in ones that are neseccary to the actual layout, while I am following 4K versions of the TCF 2009 intro video. When this entire remake is finished, I will make sure you won't be disappointed, as I am actually planning on using less signs and billboards this time.

And maybe find a better version of the background as well to make it look a lot more better to.

That I'll do as well. It should not be way too hard for me to find a more accurate sky.
