Ida had just wanted to find more pups her own age to play with, and Nitor and Rima seemed like so much fun to play with. Of course her mother was always very stern about following the rules, and staying with the group, but just going a little ways couldn't hurt right? Of course pups are too young and innocent to truly comprehend the threat of something like a bear, and the monster was upon them when a furious dove attacked it. Ida barely had time to realize her mother was facing down the mass of brown fur when she was being pulled back by a foot. She turned to see a kukuri she didn't recognize, furiously scolding her new friends. The bear seemed to decide that the pups weren't worth its time, however the group of pups would be scolded well into the night time hours.
