Hi there!
Well, since this is the year of the rabbit and I'm currently reading Fruits Basket (which is gonna be one of my favourite mangas EVER), I thought that Momiji and Tohru would make a cute picture for the theme
.I used a simple coloring on this because I think it fits better with the characters

Vision: As said in the description, it was for the year of the rabbit(2011). It isn't all that clear at first, but after reading the description I understood.
Originality: Of course, this picture has been done before, or at least very similar to this. Though, thank you so much for not tracing a screencap from the comics or show. thankyouthankyouthankyou. I also like how you drew it out of the style of Fruits Basket, more in your own style.
Technique: Her neck seems a weee bit too long, and her mouth is white and for some reason it's bothering me. Maybe giving it a pink or reddish inside of it would look better, but I'm not too sure on white. The eyes really amaze me though, the colour in it and all of the details in that, amazing. Also, depending on whether we're looking at this from the comics or the show, her eyes should be either blue or brown, I don't think she had green eyes. Then again, it could be something for the picture?
Impact: It didn't really evoke strong emotions, but it did make me happy looking at it.
Overall, I am amazed by this piece, good job!

This is my first Critique, here goes!
As someone said before the mouth is a bit off. The angles of the face don't seem to be in proportion. The hair, eyes, bunny and overall face are really good. Tohru's eyes are actually blue (I think, but I don't want to start an argument over something like eye color...), but that's OK. The clothes have good texture and I really like the style of the picture. The lighting is natural and well done, especially the hair highlights. I like the way you did the bunny particularly the eyes. The angle of the ears are good and they look natural. the arm joint on the bunny looks a bit off, though the back is good. In general this picture is very good and not to mention absolutely adorable! <3

As for the white mouth, I tried to imitate Takaya's style XD, she colors it in white if you look at the first volume of the manga (but now that I think of it... Tohru's eyes are brown in that picture of the 1st volume LOL XD)

I love this picture, personally. It's so darn cute! :3 The only thing I really have to say is that the mouth seems a little off to me, just leaving it white. Personally I would have darkened it a bit, but hey. (: It certainly doesn't detract from the picture or how cute it is. Other than that, I feel that this was a well-executed piece of art. I love her outfit, and I especially love the bunny on her head! It's quite possibly my favorite part of the piece.

The reason the mouth was left white is that is Natsuki Takaya's (the manga artist's) style. If you look up Fruits Basket manga illustrations, you'll see the open mouths are always white.
But apart from that, this was a good critique ^^

my first critique so ill do my best ^w^
well first of all i have to say this came out adorable the fact that you put momiji in rabbit form on tohru's head makes this picture even more original. the simple shading complements the style used to draw this piece and the clothing is a accurate to the anime. another thing thats nice about it, that i find hard to do is not make big clumps flowing hair together, which you did very nicely. the one thing that looks a bit off to me is the lighting in the hair it doesnt match the style a lot like the shading.

Yea, but the anime sucks. It didn't go past the 6th volume. Rin was cut out, Tohru and Kyo never really end up together, Momiji isn't shown after he goes through puberty, they never find out that Akito is a woman, the curse is never broken... need I go on?

I love this picture! I really wanted to do a Fruits Basket "Year of the..." this year! But again, like every other year, i just forgot xDD I'll put it on my to-do list
You did a great job! The ONLY negative thing for me is the eyes, just because you've drawn her in the manga style but given her green eyes like in the anime when in the manga her eyes are brown. But they still look beautiful and she looks just like Tohru does in the early chapters of the manga. You got Momiji in Usagi form spot on!
