Description When in doubt, ask for suggestions. In response to the comments of various, here are just a clump of random:

Top: AU Beth (might remember her if you've been around since late October) at the suggestion of . Ahhh, it's always nice to get a phone call from your boyfriend at work.

This was actually something I was thinking of writing out but there wasn't enough to it. Then I had to find a way to definitively identify that it was Launchpad calling her in the three panels so I changed the dialogue. Originally it was going to be the same in the first two, and then he says "So what are you wearing?" and she answers "I think the important question is, what am I NOT wearing". Then she looks up and notices a coworker staring at her and she stammers "To, uh, the - the wedding this weekend. I-I know I'm not wearing the RED dress..." And meanwhile on the phone LP is going "Huh? Hello? Uh, it's actually me..."

Ahem. Middle row: suggested 's Inflatabelle NOT getting beaten to a pulp for once (her words) so since I'd never actually drawn Belle getting beaten to a pulp I decided to semi-reverse the suggestion. XD F***ing cannons.
Also, and both suggested Steelbeak and it's been a while since I've drawn him so here are two attempts. I'm actually better than I used to be, which is... sad to think that THIS is an improvement. XD

Last row: suggested the AU version of her Gail Mallard in a chat with Beth. Not clear on whether that's normal Beth, my AU Beth, or an AU Beth that would tie into the AU that Gail is in. So I just did my AU Beth because I like drawing her at the moment. I did *try* to make Gail look somewhat older than Beth, since Beth would be in her 20s and Gail would be in her ... 50s? I'm not sure But since she's an amazing-looking woman I assume she'd still look very attractive. Er, the attempt at aging doesn't show at all but I really did TRY.

And second is something I actually drew LAST night, regular Beth and Launchpad, and she is telling him something which may or may not be very important but he's kind of thinking about something else hence the totally blank look on his face.

You have a really fantastic way to go about capturing the looks of your characters, official ones and ones within the fandom. :3 You're a skilled artist, you should consider going farther in it one day.! I really enjoy your work... :3

Geez louise you guys, this has over 100 views already!? What the hell? How comes when I do a full-on finished pic of ANYONE it takes a week to get 50 hits but this shot up? Maybe it's b/c the subject matter is all over the place, or maybe it's because I drew Belle XD

You know, I really ought to just take a month or so and draw NOTHING but canons. Just to learn a bunch of them at once. Right now I'm only really comfortable with Drake, Morgana, Launchpad and Bushroot... I *can* draw a few others (Quackerjack, Splatter Phoenix, Negaduck) but I'm not very confident with 'em.

I do really like how Gail came out! So I'll definitely have to take the time to do a "real" pic of her now Thanks, AU Beth is always fun to draw since I can actually make her *visibly* pretty instead of implied-pretty.

Thank you so much! This is an "alternate" version of her, except for the version with the ponytail, that I did mainly to get an excuse for a different design.

AU stuff is a lot of fun all right... Beth is somewhat awkward and not glamorous at all in "real life" but every so often I want to highlight that she can be attractive so I go to the Alternate Dimension version. Well, she was created for more than that, but it ended up being the main reason I go back to it 9_9

Seriously though, it's just fun to explore what little differences there can be.

If you have a duck character I'm more likely to draw it! I have an irrational dread of drawing non-ducks for some reason

I also like the top little comic thing, Beth looks a little more professional wi tht cute up-do and I could see Launchpad doing something like that.

The design there is for an AU I did a few months ago (I took down most of my Beth stuff though so I can't point you to it) that had a kind of "what-if" as premise where she makes one different decision and, y'know, explore everything different etc. So she's the AU Beth buuuut I probably will swipe something similar to this design for her as she gets somewhat older. She's got to have the professional look in her SOMEWHERE. Plus it's amazing how much different hair changes her face. I love this design, I HAVE to end up using it for "canon".

It's one reason I haven't posted any of my drawings of him. They stink. He will not come out right!

It really does change her face, she looks more confident and buisness oriented, kinda like a secretary. I like her side bangs, which remind me a little bit of Emmie's(sans the curl in the middle, and Beth's are more pulled to the back). Frames her face very nicely!

I call AU Beth's look "Sexy Librarian". XD Her bangs do bear a bit of structural resemblance to Emmie's, you're right! I didn't do that consciously but I know I like that kind of, um, angle? or swoop or something? When doing hair. I usually do the sort of "poof" hair style that a lot of the Disney characters have just because it's easier (and ubiquitous) but it's so pretty to do it a little different I love that in Emmie's design - and plus it gives a concrete element to her hair design which is nice also

Thank you for doing the Gail thing. I wasn't sure if you'd be able to nor not with the barrage of suggestions you got, so yay! I think they'd be rather good friends, too, if she'd still be alive to meet Beth. Or AU Beth, as it were. ^^

Heehee, thanks! Back when I was drawing all the AU stuff before I came up with like, a bunch of things like that, but this is the only one that is easy to put down quickly onto paper I feel bad I had to change it, the dialogue I wrote is MUCH more IC - even for the AU, she still has her extremely awkward moments. XD

Oh and I love drawing Gail. Going to have to make time for an official picture later, for certain ^_^ I just confused myself is all, I was like "But wait, what in the AU with Gail in it could *possibly* crossover with my AU?" There's no reason that Jacob and Gail being alive would have any impact on Beth. Buuuuut I felt like drawing her looking pretty so I went with it anyway. And I was impressed, I only had one more that I didn't get to before I lost my privacy and had to just start scanning XD

This is the first time I've had a chance to draw pretty much all week, except some piddling efforts last night, so I'm glad I got to so much even if they are all just sketches.

Thanks! I was afraid the Belle one was not going to work out properly - I found that cannon tricky and getting a "bounce" effect was... not working. But I guess it's okay. ^_^ Thanks, I like the design for the "Alternate" Beth... love that hairstyle

Steelbeak, man, well thanks Like I said, it's a big improvement on the last time I drew him but I had to erase and start over about five times. And if I'd drawn anything below his bowtie it would have been a disaster!

D'awwww. I love these, all gave me a smile which I needed SO much. And thanks for the Steelie <3 His head shape is odd to draw. And I can't tell if he's got a mane that's smoothed down or his neck is just thick. I'm going with mane but the thing doesn't like to cooperate with me.

Oh thank you! I am glad you like them I think he has no neck, I think it just goes straight to his shoulders and down to arms/chest... Which I guess follows a chicken's structure, basically? I dunno. It's just TRICKY since I'm really used to circles or ovals for heads and now I'm like "Wtf triangle?!" XD I was happy at least that it looks better than the last time I tried, so maybe if I keep practicing I'll get somewhere finally...

Haha, I hadn't thought of the no neck thing Those cheek feathers don't help either. Except I use 'em as a guide to where the comb should end at. And I like the look of 'em.
