holy hot dam, took long time to color but it came out better than I expected.the hair alone took 3 hours and that was by far the hardest part.
for a first color attempt using a laptop touchpad and "the gimp 2.2" art program to color it, i'd say its a complete sucess.
I'm sure it'd turned out better if i had a mechanical pad thing "the one that allows freehand drawing and moves corsor on ur computer" and of course if i had a photoshop program.
but still, looks nice

The Gimp is actually a pretty good program you know, it may not have all the functionalities that Photoshop has, but it is far from being bad
But... Using a laptop touchpad ? Woh... I worship you. o_O When trying with a mouse I already had really bad results, so with a touchpad, this must be even harder >.<
Anyway, yes, for a first color attempt that looks pretty neat ! I wish my first attempt would have looked like that
I especially like the shading on the trousers, and well... the hair really stands out.
The only things that bug me a little are the colour of the skin, which looks a little too "yellow" - it might come from my screen, though- and the fact that the hair has no lining, which makes it look a little "off" the rest of the drawing.
But overall, it looks really good! Congrats on this first attempt, keep it up and you'll see your style improve on and on

lol well thanks very much. you're the first to comment on my artwork, im still fairly new so this is to me expected.
I like the way my first color attempt turned out, but my only regrets is not having made some sort of background, plain white looks a little...plain..lol
