I absolutely adore these comix. Just for fun, I used to copy panels from it, line for line - so bringing them into this new style was delightfully easy.

Aw, thank you! I remember tracing over those incredibly expressive comic panels of these two when I was just getting into art. And yeah, drawing this - it was so nice to kind of give back them what they taught me.

I used to read them as a kid, and really enjoyed them. They were my father's; he used to buy them back when he was living in his home village; a small settlement hidden in the mountains.
Anyway, I reread them as an adult, and there was a lot I was missing out, both in the jokes and the commentary; these comics have aged pretty damn well.

Yeah, I discovered the comic because of the game. Style wise, they did a fairly decent job translating the work to a game from the perspective of outsider.
In any event, never stop creating art in this amazing style!
