Description
Shot of a girl who wanted to be a model, decided against it, became a friend instead, and then vanished without a word.Some people you never understand.

What really makes this photo special and stand out is that you can see her lips just before her face slips out of frame. It has a certain flirtatious quality about it.

Julia is not as skinny as you might think. She is extremely lean though, almost all muscle because she runs 4 miles per day and is a strict vegetarian. When you do not eat meat or dairy at all the body tends to do this. I work with all kinds of models, curvy models, slender models... it does not matter to me. Be careful how you judge.

She seems to be laying down, yet lifting her head. This would cause her abdominal and rib musculature to flex the muscles to help support the motion. Lean and cut people have more definition. She has "meat" in her being lean. I think they call that "athletic" or "fit"?

Correct, she is extremely healthy and muscular. She doesn't look skinny in person like most models - think ronjawwr just has personal issues to vent here.

Ya, it's called ignorance. Mostly brought on by the overabundance of obese populace. Any healthy human who lays flat on their back should have a natural recession of their abdomen. If not, then it's a possible sign of being over-weight.

Yea perky nips her hips are aligned perfectly and her curve is subtle enough that it makes you think dat ass. One thing is that the ribcage is set to thinly and pulls around the body which is norm but not as common as you'd think.

I do admit that the half hidden face taunts me, though. If I were forced to have a focus on a specific physical trait, it would be a pretty face, especially nice eyes and a pretty smile. This usually garners me some rather emasculating remarks from my fellow male constituents... which is when I promptly tell them to shove off. But I digress.
God, am I a sucker for a cute face. >.<
I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wish her face were visible... but I'm also far from ignorant of the desire for anonymity for your models. So silence my tongue I shall, and I shall be contented to give my appreciation for your fine art.

It's a wonderfull picture. I love the way you use the bokeh with the perfect tone. Did you retouched it or just was a simple moment of gorgeous inspiration?

Retouching took about 3 minutes, pretty much just backed off the contrast a little bit by using a 10% "screen" layer in Photoshop.

She has a very beautiful body and you only did her justice with this light. I love how the light bounces around her body and brings out the shapes. A beautiful model and a beautiful image.
