soooo.... umm.. 5 hours straight.. my eyes hurt and are going to fall out of their sockets it seems....My recent obsession and inspiration - Emilie Autumn.
At first I wanted to design a outfit for her... (not that she's going to actually wear it, but just.. well... you can call it weird fanart ._.) that little scetch kept bugging me until I redrew it perfectly (it's still not perfect - one of the eyes is the wrong place and both of her legs seem.. well.. weird.. ;__; ) and got it coloured... At first the girl wasn't supposed to be actually her, but the features such as make-up, eye colour and the little piercing went much closer than I expected... I still don't suppose her to be Emilie, but... meh... I'm just talking.. u_u
I also wanted to feature her dog Willow, but I thought if this isn't actually her, then that would be inappropriate.. I'm going to send this to her.. I hope that she likes it.. *nervous*
I have a little details shot of her head and shoes where you can see little stippling details... sorry... I just cannot.. not.. stipple..?!

Weird fanart? *giggles* I think its a cool idea, even if she was never going to wear what you design... its still a thought. I really like this one, the colours are nice and soft on the eyes and your lines are so clear. Sorry for my lack of replying to your work I've only just gotten back into the habbit of replying to my inbox, I'll try to be better in the future.

I actually redid the lineart a couple of times.. this one seemed the best one, so I just coloured it

Gorgeous! I love the hair colour and lines and shading, just overall cool. I also like how the lining of the skirt is red, it's unexpected, and the adorable little shorts are very fresh. The crinkly fabric looks really sweet; you rendered it really nicely. I also like how the darts on her corset are like uneven like stitches, very cool. I think it's sort of weird though that her tights are red and white striped when everything else is red with that tan-ish color... if the corset were white or the tights were tan it might fit together nicer. I really like the anatomy, is looks lovely everywhere, ecspecially her hand. I love the clock around her neck and the little mini-crown on her head, but the spiked collar seems a tad overdone. Great picture!

as for some of the details you mentioned.. I used a lot of things that Emilie herself uses... I used her reference picure for colours (hence the hair and skin colour). the little shorts are aswell one of Emilie's trademarks (she often uses slogan "have you joined the boomer ranks"); the little clock-choker is hers aswell (I can give you a link where you can get it if you're interested), though I merged her love towards spiked blacelets and this little clock-choker here (the original has simple lace around the neck), I tired to give a bit of spice to her overall look, but probably you're right.. I just get easily obsessed with needless details... same with the tights... I tried to give a little realism (you cannot really get slight tan/red tights anywhere I know) and I thought that using the tan in her tights aswell might make the colour range a bit dull (though I must admit, that these tights turns one's attention to overly stretched legs which might not be a bood thing :/)

Yeah I agree with you about hard to find red/tan tights (though I personally can't even find red/white tights), and making the colour scheme boring, but I dunno, the white is just so close to the tan but not quite it... Well anyway, awesome picture (again).

if you wish you can check her out here [link] (her page got hacked recently and the new one got hacked again, so I'm not sure where is it now... but one of her songs is in that link) that's not her best song, but I know no other place up in web where you could listen to it..

she has a tiny crown, whats not to love. other then the eye though i really like her. the legs are odd but in a way that i liked them most when i first looked at it.
