About Freaking Time.... All I can say about this drawing...I lost track of how much time I put in somewhere after the 40 hour mark.
Anyways, enjoy! This is my first attempt in a few years at producing a serious piece of art!

Yay! The predator totaly kicks alien ass in this pic. You're a very good artist and I can definatly see you took your time on this peice. It came out great. I'm gonna favorite it! ^-^

Thanks very much! The pose didn't quite come out as dramatic as I could have made it, but I was too many hours in to do it again so this is the turnout. I still don't like the half assed bg, but that would be my fault.

Maybe I'll take a better picture of it so it doesn't have all the glare off the graphite either... lol.

Whoa, cool! I just love this, my first thought was this 'MwaHaHa' the predator gives in AvP2 after ripping a head off. (I LOVE this laughing, it's beside from the different viewmodes the only reason why I play the predator ocassionally.

I really like the shading on the brick wall. The alien looks so shiny. If aliens didn't freak me out so much, I'd touch it.

The alien is only shiny because my scanner reflected off the graphite...
I don't know how to get a better scan.

Good work, especially the Predator's head. My only suggestion would be for the scanning/editing, not for the drawing itself. The editing in the background shows, taking away from the image. Also, adding just a bit of contrast would make this even better. Otherwise, great job!

I'm really not sure where I would add contrast in this though... just deciding on that tiny amount of background was hard enough for me.
I guess it's something I'll get more used to as I go.

wow amazing! i love the Alien/Predator/AVP series, they rock so much.. i wish i could draw them this well, i had a few tries but my aliens have weird heads and my predators look like a pug dog
