Description
Sorry for the long wait, this piece took quite a while but it is finished now. It's a commission I did for an upcoming book. The back cover! It's not on the internet so I can't give any links or anything! I also have no idea about it since I was so focused.
Apart from this, what do you think? I, honestly, really like it. Good Job Me! Hopefully you think the same.
Here's the process:

Hello! I come fromΒ ProjectComment to give some feedback.
Oh well, letβs start with the good sides. The first good thing that I noticed is the usage of colors. Somehow, you made them look very pleasing with brown. I also like the textures as well; the shading fits with it together, making it look more realistic, such as the shading on the trees. The wood texture is looking great too. Unlike most of the abstract paintings, I can sort out the scenery, I mean whatβs in there, what material is the building made out of, etc. The shading has been done very well, and I can see the effort in it. Shading usually takes patience and needs good knowledge in order to be done this well. Alongside with the good facts, there is a thing that can be fixed: Perspective. Correct me if Iβm wrong, but I think itβs kind of off for me. The perspectives on the ice brick thingies are fine, but the props (tables, houses, etc.) donβt fit the perspective in my opinion. The easiest way to solve this problem is thinking 3-D. Thinking 3-D helps with drawing scenery in perspective, as well is in poses, shading, animation (not really common, but it still helps), and maybe much more of you can think of, and itβll make the drawing more attractive, so I recommend paying attention to it. Cool painting by the way, and have a good time painting!

I see a palace that looks like the Palace of Agrabah in the center.

I really like the colors you choose. I like how it looks like a small society built on a grassy plain. But can also be seen as a society built in the water on a shallow beach, and those two houses outside the walls are large rocks. It's fun switching between the two.

Yowza. That's one heck of a bird's eye view.Β
I wonder what it looks like if you zoom in. Is there any chance you can pull that off? I'd love to see it.Β
